Conversation with Mom at the beach.

Mom: Avery is so cute, every time she wants something she says "por favor" and then "gracias" when she gets it. She told me that I need to say "dingle dong" back to her.

Me: You mean "de nada"?

It sounds prettier this way

After telling Jon that I announced his new job in Relief Society (our church's organization for women) I told him "Now the news will spread like wildflowers!"

I seriously couldn't think of the correct term. (It's wildfire)

Tillamook Goodness

While on the beach, Mackayla said "Where's the sand?"

Bethany: "I wish I could poop two pounds!"

Mum: "Tillamook cheese factory? Isn't that in Tillamook?!"

Mum: "If you stay in this kitchen long enough, you're gonna get felt up!"

Food Pyramid

It was late and we were talking about the fruits and vegetables we had eaten that day when Jon blurts out "Corn is a fruit!"

Like I said, it was late.

Appetite Spoiling

Said on the way to a picnic:
"Don't eat that chicken. It's for dinner. Eat some cookies instead!"
